APRÈS-GE

APRÈS - The social and solidarity economy network is a non-profit association, which is committed to the promotion and recognition of the social and solidarity economy (SSE) in the Geneva region. Today, it brings together more than 370 companies and organizations that are concretely committed to the ecological and social transition. Their goal is to contribute to making the economy a major lever of transition towards a society that respects humans and the biosphere.

Itopie

Itopie is a human-sized cooperative based in Geneva. It fights for a free, ethical, sustainable and citizen-based computing.

Ciguë

La Ciguë is a self-managed housing cooperative for people in training. It is composed of many houses and buildings spread in the city and in the canton of Geneva.

Le Nid

Le Nid is a cooperative grocery store that offers fresh, seasonal, regional and bulk products (without packaging), while reconnecting consumers and producers.

Exodes Urbains

Since 2014 (officially 2015) Urban Exodus has been exploring and promoting innovative and ecological forms of urban agriculture.

La FASe

La FASe – The mission of the Geneva Foundation for Socio-Cultural Activities is to promote and strengthen social cohesion in the canton of Geneva.

L'Orangerie

The mission of the Orangery is:

To provide work to people in precarious situations who wish to change their status.

To allow women and men to return to active life.

Hire, for a determined period of time, adults who wish to be integrated into the socio-economic system in place.

To offer paid work under the responsibility of professionals in the field.

To put the skills of social workers at the service of employees.

To support employees in their projects and accompany them individually.

Identify, encourage and promote the development of their resources.

To promote the acquisition of professional and/or technical skills.

Bicyclette Bleue

La Bicyclette Bleue, is a group of friends who share a conviction: "we must actively promote soft mobility to make our cities more ecological, healthy, pleasant, safe and humane".

Offering long term rentals and a self-repair space are their modest contribution and foundation.

Fondation Clair-Bois

La fondation Clair Bois' primary mission is to provide appropriate support to the multi-handicapped children, adolescents and adults entrusted to its care. In a warm environment, it offers to those who live in a high degree of dependence a professional and attentive accompaniment, favourable to progress and blossoming. The foundation's mission is also to offer adapted jobs to people with disabilities, and to offer vocational training courses to people with learning difficulties.

Codha

CODHA was created in 1994 and is a non-profit organization that brings together people who want a different type of housing, a different quality of life, a different relationship with housing, based on participation, conviviality and solidarity.

It is by pooling financial resources and by the active participation of the residents that the cooperative carries out its projects. The internal management of the buildings by the residents also allows them to define a living environment closer to their aspirations.

Collectif Nocturne

Le Collectif pour une vie nocturne  Rich, lively and diversified is an association that defends a quality nightlife for young people in Geneva. It brings together more than 200 member associations as well as about 40 individual members. Created on February 17, 2015 by 17 constituent associations as an associative gathering around a common position, the Collectif nocturne launched a month later a petition "for a rich, lively and diversified nightlife" which denounced the lack of adequate nightlife offer and the repressive tendency of the political action which undermines the appropriate framework for young people to learn about the culture of the night. In February 2017, the publication of a "Plea for a rich, lively and diverse nightlife" allowed the association to develop its vision and political discourse on Geneva's nightlife. In parallel to its political action, the Collectif nocturne conducts event-based action in line with its goals and demands such as the Terreau project.

alveo.design

alveo.design is an association whose goal is to promote the communication of social, humanitarian and environmental initiatives.

Fondation Foyer-Handicap

La Fondation Foyer-Handicap's mission is "to make possible the full integration into society of people with physical disabilities as a priority, and of any person whose needs correspond to the Foundation's skills and resources".

HEAD

Created in 2006 from the merger of two two-hundred-year-old schools, the École Supérieure des Beaux-Arts and the Haute École d'Arts Appliqués, the HEAD.

Geneva draws on a rich cultural and artistic tradition to promote young creation on a national and international level. Recognized for the quality of its Bachelor's and Master's programs in Visual Arts, Film, Space Design, Visual Communication and Fashion Design, Jewelry and Accessories, it has established itself as one of the best art and design schools in Europe.

La Roseraie

"La Roseraie - Fondation yesterday's refugees welcome today's refugees" was created in November 2001. After an initial period of operation, from 2002 to 2008, the Roseraie experienced an interruption in its activities with the construction of a new building in which it now has its premises.

mobilidée

Mobilidée "We improve everyday travel by providing innovative solutions that transform mobility experiences."

Ressources Urbaines

Founded in December 2015 and officially inaugurated in June 2016, the Ressources Urbaines cooperative aims to offer artists, artisans, creators and socio-cultural actors affordable production, exchange and distribution spaces in the Canton of Geneva.
